Kampung Ginger by HAK are sourced from small scale local farmers and villagers in Lahad Datu Sabah – Malaysian Borneo. The size of this ginger is much smaller compared to ordinary ginger and has many small nubs. It is however potent enough to give spicy sensation to your fingers while peeling the ginger. The taste is spicier than ordinary ginger with fresh citrusy aroma.
The team at Hawa’s Artisan Kitchen in Borneo has taken much care at cleaning, peeling, blanching, thinly slicing the ginger and air dry it so you can enjoy it as a form of herbal infused tea or to be used in Asian type of dishes at home.
