Return & Refund Policy

1.0 Introduction

Please read and understand this Return and Refund Policy before you apply for a return or refund in Shop.Locally.my Platform. We will consider you have already understood and have consent with this Return and Refund Policy when you start an application for a return or refund. Should you have any queries or concerns in relation to this Policy, kindly contact us at [email protected]

2.0 Communication Between Buyer and Seller

Shop.Locally.my encourages Users to communicate with each other in the event where problem arises in a transaction. As Shop.Locally.my is a platform for Users to conduct trading, Buyer should contact Seller directly for any issue relating to the Item purchased.

3.0 Cancellation

Once you have submitted your Order and your payment has been authorized, you will not entitled to cancel your Order, nor will you be entitled to a refund.

If you wish to change your Order, you may contact the Seller in order to communicate your requests. However, there is no guarantee that the Seller will agree to your request as they may have already started processing your Order.

You shall have the right to cancel an Order if:-

  • Product has not been delivered within the processing time stated in the product page
  • Product is not traceable after 7 working days from delivery date

4.0 Return & Exchange

Upon receipt of your Order, if you discover that there are issues with your Order, please contact Seller immediately and quote your Order Number. Seller may request for photographic proof and/or additional information to properly investigate the issue with your Order. If Seller determine that the Item you received are not of satisfactory condition or quality, Seller will either agree with

  • Returns and Exchange with the same item.
  • Returns and Refund

Buyer may apply for returns in the following circumstances:

  • Defective/Damaged Item
  • Wrong Item (e.g. wrong size, colour, etc.)
  • Missing Item

Returns is NOT applicable for :

  • Perishable food/ goods (due to nature of the product)
  • Request after 7 days from the received date
  • All virtual tickets, mobile top up and any other type of services

4.1 Condition of Returning Item

To enjoy a hassle-free experience when returning the Item, Buyer should ensure that the Item, including any complimentary items such as accessories that come with the Item, must be returned to Seller in the condition received by Buyer on delivery. We will recommend Buyer to take photo of the Item upon receipt.

4.2 Liability of Product Return Shipping Fee

i) For unforeseen error from the seller’s end (e.g. damaged, faulty or wrong product delivered), Seller will bear Buyer’s return shipping fee.
ii) For Buyer’s change of mind, Buyer shall get seller’s consent prior to the return request and Buyer will bear the return shipping fee.

5.0 Refunds

5.1 Refunds from Failed Delivery/ Inadequate Products

After Shop.Locally.my has received the confirmation from Seller that Seller failed to deliver, Shop.Locally.my will refund the applicable sum to Buyer’s credit/debit card or designated bank account.

In the event where Shop.Locally.my does not hear from Seller within 7 days, Shop.Locally.my will be at liberty to refund to Buyer without further notice to Seller. 

 

5.2 Refund from Return (Please check Seller’s Refund Policy)

After Seller has received the returned Item and passed inspection, Shop.Locally.my will refund the applicable sum to Buyer’s credit/debit card or designated bank account. Refund is NOT applicable for :

  • Request after 7 days from the received date
  • Returned due to customer unreachable/not available at the location

6.0 Buyer-Seller Conflict

On User’s request, Shop.Locally.my will assist Users in dealing with certain conflicts which may arise during the course of a transaction. Buyer’s application must be submitted via the Shop.Locally.my website within 7days from receiving date and quote Order Number. Shop.Locally.my will review each Buyer’s application on a case-by-case basis and, in its sole discretion, determine whether Buyer’s application is successful.

In the event where Buyer has commenced legal action against Seller, Buyer may provide the formal notification from the appropriate authority to Shop.Locally.my to request us to continue to hold the purchase monies until a formal determination is available. Shop.Locally.my will, at its sole and absolute discretion, determine whether it is necessary to continue to hold such purchase monies.

7.0 Updates To Our Return & Refund Policy

We may be required to revise and/or modify this Return & Refund Policy from time to time and the updated version shall apply and supersede any and all previous versions, including but not limited to, booklets, leaflets or hard copy versions. By continuing to use Shop.Locally.my Products and Services after the communication of such revision and/or modification, you are accepting and consenting to such revision and/or modification. Please check our website and/or our Announcement site for information on our most up-to-date practices.
