Moringa also known as miracle tree, drumstick tree, horseradish tree or ben oil tree is a multipurpose herbal plant/ super food that is used in the culinary world for its health benefits. The fresh Moringa leaves and pods can be used to make delicious curries and earthy notes of tea. The Moringa powder on the other hand can be mixed into smoothies or juice. It can also be used to infuse flavor and natural color to freshly made pasta, rice, noodles, etc.
Moringa is a superfood that has excellent antioxidant properties to boost the immune system, reduce pain and decrease inflammation. The moringa leaves retain lots of vitamins and minerals when dried and as such makes a great cup of herb tea whenever you need the energy boost.
Proceeds from the moringa leaves and powder sales goes to reforestation efforts at Bukit Piton for orangutan habitat.
